As this startup's leading technical authority, I was the main technical force behind the
development of technology strategies for this new venture. This involved working
closely with Business Builders and technical project managers, and used
my knowledge
of - and passion in - the latest developments in the Automobile,
Internet Security, Network Management,
4G Communications and
Mobile Device areas, to create, test, and develop new strategies, solutions and services. My
role changed over the months. As a result, I was involved in technology selection, architecture design, managing technology
development, technology partner evaluation, interim management and anything in between.
I also managed the technological elements of acquisitions and joint venture
proposals.
Initially, I prototyped new technologies to suit individual ventures.
Ultimately, as the venture matured, I helped to ensure the management
team was in a position to accept full
technology responsibility.
I was charged with developing and presenting complicated issues to non-technology people,
and provided technical answers at all levels.
In a context of continuous change, I provided creative and resourceful
problem-solving.
